The source of the database is mainly provided by our Subscribers.
FDR is not a rating agency. We do not attempt to rate, rank or give opinion on any individual or company.
Vehicle Enquiry
The vehicle information is the core product offered by FDR to our subscribers.
This information is furnished to our Subscribers when the search is the vehicle registration, chassis or engine number. The purpose of the search is to determine if the search vehicle has an existing hire purchase loan or is a problematic vehicle example total loss or stolen vehicle.
Credit Enquiry
The credit report is furnished to clients when the search criteria is an individual subject's identification number or company's business registration number.
In this volatile economy, managing risk is essential to manage profit and loss. Our Subscribers use the credit report as a tool to identify hire purchase loan or leasing loan served by the subject concerned.
For credit enquiry, Subscribers can obtain credit information based on IC number or Business Registration number enquired to check whether the person or business is a hirer or guarantor of a hire purchase loan or leasing loan.
Ownership Claim Registration
This is to register the subscriber's ownership claim interest in motor vehicles, goods or equipments which is the subject of hire purchase and leasing agreements. The ownership claim record should be submitted promptly by the Subscriber to avoid double financing of hire purchase or leasing agreements.
Ownership Claim Discharge
This is to discharge an ownership claim which was registered earlier by the Subscribers when the hirer settled the loan with the Subscriber.
