Anti-bribery and Corruption Policy Whistleblowing Policy

The term whistleblowing is used to describe the act of responsible disclosure of information about suspected violations of laws, regulations, or company policies, including malpractice, misconduct, mismanagement, corruption, or abuse of authority.

This policy covers all of FIS Group's dealings with the public and private sectors and is applicable to all directors of FIS Group and all individuals employed by FIS Group including consultants, vendors, independent contractors, and any other party with a business relationship with FIS.

To report any improper conduct, please send your report to whistleblower@fis.com.my. Once your report is received, we will initiate an investigation.

FIS is dedicated to ensuring that all whistleblowers are fully protected from any form of retaliation or adverse consequences as a result of their reporting. It is ensure that FIS will provide you with :

Protection of Confidential Information

The identity and the personal information of the whistleblower will be protected and kept confidential, unless the whistleblower agrees otherwise or unless otherwise required by law.

Protection Againts Detrimental Action

The organization will protect the whistleblower from retaliation, reprisal, or any detrimental action as a result of disclosing an improper conduct.

Protection From Discrimination

The organization cannot retaliate by taking "adverse action" against whistleblowers such as firing or laying off, blacklisting, demoting etc.

Revocation Of Protection

The protection shall be revoked if in the course of the investigation it is discovered that the report was not made in good faith or if the whistleblower himself/herself has participated in the improper conduct disclosed or any related misconduct.

Non-Immunity

The disclosure made under this Policy does not necessarily immune an individual against any criminal prosecution following his/her improper conduct or involvement in it and do not provide protection from Detrimental Action to a whistleblower who is not an employee.

Our Ethical Integrity

FIS adopts a zero-tolerance policy against all forms of bribery and corruption and is committed to the highest standards of ethical conduct and integrity in business activities and shall act professionally, fairly with integrity.

Who Must Comply?

This policy applies to FIS and all subsidiaries, covering directors, officers, and employees. It also extends to third parties, including agents, distributors, contractors, suppliers, and others performing services for FIS, who must comply with relevant aspects of this policy.

Bribery, Corruption, and Legal Standards

Bribery is the most common form of corruption which involves offering, giving, accepting, or soliciting an advantage to influence actions illegally or a breach of trust for personal or commercial gain. Bribery and corruption are punishable offences under the MACC Act.

Gifts, Hospitality And Entertainment

FIS acknowledges that Gifts, Hospitality and Entertainment (GHE) may be an appropriate business practice but, improper, or excessive GHE can be a form of bribery, corruption, or gratification.

We are dedicated to adhering to all laws and regulations that govern our business and operations, including FIS's Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy and all relevant anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws and policies.
